Live Whole. Eat Well. Travel Often.

Meet Leisan

Founder Leisan Echols, MS, RDN, CSCS, has dedicated her career to health and wellness for more than a decade. She began her journey as a personal trainer, later deepening her expertise through graduate studies in nutrition and exercise physiology. While her professional foundation was already strong, her curiosity about new cultures and ways of living led her abroad, where she was first introduced to mindfulness during her time in Japan. That early experience planted a seed that would later reshape her life and her work.

Expanding her career, Leisan went on to work in-house at a Caribbean wellness resort, leading nutrition and movement programming for guests from around the world. It was there that she witnessed the power of wellness hospitality, intentional care, and restorative environments to transform how people feel in their bodies and in their lives. Although the work was meaningful, the pace eventually led to burnout, and she recognized the need for space to return to herself.

Leisan embarked on a six-month sabbatical through Asia, returning to Japan and traveling through several other countries during a period of deep rest, reflection, and healing. It was through this journey that mindfulness came into focus, offering clarity about the life she would create and how she could guide others toward their own sense of possibility. A chance conversation with another traveler pointed her toward Colombia, where she found an immediate sense of connection, community, and creative potential.

Leisano Living was ultimately launched from Medellín, shaped by every chapter of what she calls her adventure to wellness. It reflects a fusion of movement, nourishment, mindfulness, cultural exploration, and transformative travel, a combination that continues to guide her path and purpose.

Today, Leisan helps others reclaim energy, deepen awareness, and live with intention through experiences that expand what they believe is possible for their own lives.

“Wellness expands beyond eating well or working out. It includes reclaiming our energy in a world that demands too much from us and creating a life that restores, while also inviting us to live boldly.”
